Getting ThereFly into Olbia/ Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB) Daily flights are available from Milan (LIN or MXP) and Rome (FCO) with Aeroitalia and Volotea. Additional flights may be available from other Italian and European cities depending on the time of the year. We do not have Uber or anything like that in Sardinia, however taxis are available outside of the airport. We can arrange this for you in advance for an 80 euro fee (each way). If there are multiple guests arriving at the same time, we are happy to arrange a group transportation for an additional fee.

What is the weather like?Sardinia is a Mediterranean Island, and has its own microclimate. In May, temperatures are usually pleasant early 70s (20-25 celsius), warm during the day, with evenings a bit chilly. Sometimes it may rain. In June and September, daytime temperatures are hotter, but not humid, as there is usually a breeze. Expect long beautiful days, (think 75-85 (26-32 celsius) with cooler nights. October can be a very nice month weatherwise. Its still warm enough to go out on a boat and swim, but days are a bit shorter. It may be a bit windy, and it can rain, but historically the first 15 days of October have been marvelous.

The Barbagia region of Sardinia was the first Blue Zone that was discovered as such, and continues to be the area where men live longer than anywhere else. Studies led by Gianni Pes, senior researcher at the University of Sassari and founder of 'The Forever Club' helped to realize out the key factors that contribute to longevity in these areas, and you will learn more about them, and experience these activities, during our Blue Zone Bliss Retreats.
